Prep to Year 6
The Junior years from Prep to Year 4 provide a strong foundation for the subsequent year levels at Kawana Waters State College. Students develop their skills, knowledge and understanding across all year levels and learning areas. They participate in a wide variety of learning experiences which cater for individual learning styles. These experiences include individual, small group and whole class activities with the use of manipulative materials, body movement activities and written tasks to develop this all-important foundation for learning. With a focus on literacy, numeracy and student engagement, learning experiences across these early years form the building blocks for lifelong learning.
