Functions of  the College Council

The College Council has the following functions for our college:

(a)  approving plans and policies of a strategic nature and other documents affecting strategic matters, including the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the College; and

(b)  monitoring the College's strategic direction, including selecting a person to participate as a full member on the selection panel appointed to select a principal for the college whenever a vacancy in that office occurs and where the chief executive has determined that a merit selection process is required to fill the vacancy; and 

(c)   monitoring the implementation of the plans, College policies and other documents; and 

(d)  advising the principal about strategic matters; and 

(e)  the membership of our College Council is varied and contains:-

    • College Principal and Heads of Campus
    • P & C President and parents
    • Staff
    • Student Captains
    • Community and business representatives
