Our logo was created from a competition run among our Primary students and refined by teacher aide, Kristine Hanna.
Mission statement
- Quietly provide an extra layer of support for families and individuals in our extended KWSC community.
- Recognise the wonderful acts of kindness that already take place across the campus.
- Creatively network with community organisations and people within the school community to provide resources to meet needs.
- To build a sense of care and concern.

Breakfast Club
- Toast on Tuesday and Thursday on the Primary Campus
- Toasties on Wednesday and Friday on the Secondary Campus
- Bread donated by Baker's Delight, Birtinya.
- Cheese, ham, spreads and juice purchased by K@K.

Lunches
- Primary school: available at the Administration Office on the Primary Campus.
- Sourced from Baker's Delight bread pick up, teacher supplied meals, meals prepared by Primary Student Leaders.
Cook ups- Meat donated by Salvos, Kawana Life Baptist, Kawana Uniting churches
- Dry ingredients donated by school families.
- Fresh ingredients bought through K@K funds.
- Kept in freezer on Secondary campus.
- Meals distributed mainly by Chappy Mark (Secondary) or Rhondda Lynagh (Primary)
- Any teacher can access meals if required for members of the extended school community. There is a simple sign out sheet on the top of the freezer (see Judy Marsh for access).
Assistance given
- School excursions paid for or subsidised.
- School senior jackets paid for or subsidised.
- Formal tickets purchased
- Help for struggling families.
- Uniforms purchased or subsidised for students.
- Hamper purchased for Mum with terminal cancer.
K@K Initiatives
Thank you cards: made available to Secondary staff (small business sized cards on staffroom tables) for personal use to promote a climate of gratitude at the College.
K@K school badges to recognise students who have volunteered for lengthy periods in our programmes.
Thank you gifts: to our school cleaners for School Cleaners' Day 2023.
R U Ok Day: Hampers for school staff delivered to staffrooms.
World Kindness Day: “Secret Santa-style" gifts for nominated fellow staff members.
Fashion Fridays: Fortnightly voluntary staff dress-up to support various community causes.
World's Greatest Shave: Raised money for the Leukaemia Foundation in support of past student, Rebekah Stott, who had Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2021.
