Fund Raising

 

The Canteen provides the P&C with sufficient funds to provide for the provision of various school resources. We have current loans that have enabled the school to improve the Stadium facilities. These includes a new floor, classroom, toilets and change rooms, storage rooms, gym equipment and area. As well we have over the past few years provided more than $30000 to help with special projects in various curriculum areas.

 

 

A policy has been collaboratively developed and endorsed through the previous Kawana Waters State High School P&C to provide financial support to students who either:

·         Require assistance due to financial difficulties

·         Are seeking support to participate in approved sporting selection

 

The College Principal has developed a system whereby a monthly report is provided to the P&C where students have received financial assistance. This report will not identify students to the general public.

 

In doing this the P&C runs a uniform shop for parents and students to purchase student uniforms.
