Location

Kawana Waters State College is situated on the coastal area of the Sunshine Coast between Mooloolaba and Caloundra. The school is approximately one hour's drive north of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. The school is close to well known beaches, tourist attractions and shopping centres. The local airport is situated at Maroochydore approximately 30 minutes drive from Kawana Waters.

The school overlooks a canal which is the centre of a large planned development, shown below. This will place Kawana Waters SC at the centre of a thriving local community with many attractions for international students.

The Kawana Waters area is considered a very safe community. There is a local bus service and a school bus service. A large shopping centre, Kawana Shoppingtown, is located approximately five kilometres from the school.
