Awards
We have an excellent reputation as an international school having had international students in our school since 1997. Our program has been recognized for excellence through the following awards:
2008 National Awards in Quality Schooling awarded Vicki Belletty, International Student liaison Officer with an Excellence in School Support Award. Ms Belletty is photographed with The Hon. Ms. Julia Gillard, Education Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.

2007 Industry Showcase Award for Outstanding Achievement by an International Student was awarded to Edison Jin.

Edison Jin is pictured receiving his award from Education Queensland Minister, Mr Ron Welford, at Parliament House.
The College Principal and members from the International team also attended the 2007 Industry Showcase Awards. Competition was of a very high standard with all other nominees being university students.

2005 Outstanding National Achievement by a Principal Award
|
|
2005 Outstanding National Achievement by a Principal Award was awarded to Jo House by Dr Brendan Nelson, Federal Minister for Education in Canberra.
Helen Morris was awarded Outstanding National Achievement by a Teacher for her work in the middle schooling area.
David Morris accepted a Highly Commended National School Improvement by a School Team on behalf of the Student Services Team at the school for their work with the Student Services Program.

Showcase for Excellence District Winners 2002

| Kawana Waters SHS received the Showcase 2002 Awards for Excellence in the Mooloolaba District for the International Program. The Showcase Awards recognise, celebrate and reward school practices that have significantly improved educational outcomes for students. |

Sunshine Coast Regional Innovation Award 2002

| Mr Grant Larsen, International Program Manager, English as a Second Language teacher, won an award for Exceptional Learners at the Sunshine Coast Regional Innovations Awards 2002 held at the Sunshine Coast University. |

Unicorn Teaching Excellence Awards 2002
|
| Mrs Koster, a trained English as a Second Language Teacher (ESL) won a Unicorn Teaching Excellence Award for her work assisting international students. She teaches international students and provides small group and individual assistance to students. |

Pride of Workmanship Award 2001
|
| Mrs Vicki Belletty, Home stay Coordinator was awarded a Pride of Workmanship Award by the Kawana Waters Rotary Club for her work as our International Liaison Officer. Mrs Belletty is the Homestay coordinator who provides assistance to students by finding safe and enjoyable home stays. |
